guitar lessons
Our experienced and qualified guitar teachers teach rock, jazz, pop, blues and metal. We also teach lessons on electric and acoustic guitars. So whatever you are wanting to learn, you will find it here at The Shed! Beginner students can expect to work on chords, simple songs and melodies, sight-reading and theory.
Advanced students will learn soloing/improvising, specific riffs, using a pedal board, and more. We use a variety of guitar method books and resources to accomplish this and we encourage students their playlists to their lessons to learn their favourite tunes. Pursuing music grades is always an option too! However, we emphasize “option”. There is no pressure, either way, you can learn for fun or to gain qualifications. It’s entirely up to you! These are your lessons, it’s entirely up to you to decide!

our parents say
Liam started open band sessions followed by 1:1 guitar lessons with the music shed in 2019. From his very first lesson Liam was hooked.
Dave and Dawn welcomed him into the shed family and through their dedication and commitment his confidence and musical skill has developed exponentially. Liam has just received a distinction in his grade 3 rock guitar exam which demonstrates their exceptional standard of teaching and professionalism.
Above all, the music shed provides a safe haven for musical creativity, fun and friendships. Liam loves the dynamics of band performances and enjoys rocking out with others as well as individually developing his own skill. We are so grateful we found the music shed and I know this is just the beginning of a fantastic musical journey for Liam.
